Adam Rick
Special guest
Adam Rick is passionate about Regenerative Agriculture and sustainable living. Located in Southeastern Wisconsin, Adam and his lovely wife Lisa have built their life together with their two kids (and many pets!), instilling in them the value of producing high-quality products while giving back to the land.
In 2022, Adam and his wife Lisa started Modern Frontier Farms. Adam and his partners are building soil in old, played out and over-fertilized farm fields in Central Wisconsin one animal (cow, pig, chicken and sheep) at a time. Now, Adam isn’t raising all of this livestock on his 5-acre homestead in Dousman, Wisconsin. Adam is working with a local cooperative of Amish farmers, Wautoma Family of Farms, along with other regional producers. Their goal is to produce animals that are raised the way nature intended to raise fantastic tasting food.
At Modern Frontier Farms, their food products are raised to very strict standards by following Regenerative Agriculture practices and protocols. Looking to nature for guidance, the animals are raised in pastured settings where they are as happy and healthy as possible.
Adam Rick has been a guest on 19 episodes.
